Corporal punishment leaves the child fearful and prevents higher order thinking and deeper learning from happening in the brain. How can we convince all teachers everywhere not to use corporal punishment to encourage learning?

We are now outsourcing some of our cognition to our devices. For instance, we don’t store the phone numbers of our friends in our brain – we store it in our external cortex – the harddrive of a phone. We also don’t store all facts in our brain, we can now access it on the internet. Is this a good or bad thing?
