Your students are misbehaving or zoning out. Based on what you’ve learnt about neuroeducation thus far, what can you do to change their behavior?

  1. perhaps its time for a brain break, movement to get them back to focus and give their brain a break then return to class work. Otherwise can discuss with them what is going on with them and take it from there, collobarate with them in developing strategies to ensure this does not keep repeating itself

  2. It really depends on the student, I’m guessing most of them are just minor cases and just a pep talk and perhaps informing the parents of the children. For the more serious and rare students’ cases of extreme misbehaving, it gets a bit tricky. Teachers cannot punish the children, not in modern times at least, so they have to talk it out with the parents to figure out the best

  3. I would try to understand the reason why they are misbehaving or zoning out and then try working on it from my side. Because in my opinion, the problem most of the time isn’t the child but it is something that affects. Whether it be their teacher, some in the subject or class that’s demotivating them, their friends, or even problems at home.

  4. We must comprehend the problem of the students and try to have a friendly talk or persuade and encourage them to behave in a discipline manner.

  5. We should try to understand the problems the students and children are facing and act accordingly to that depending on the situation . As teachers in classroom they can continue to enhance making a change to the mindset of the learners by implementing all the existing truths and doing away with myths in neuroscience and mind brain education .

  6. With confidence we know its only about modifying their brain fuctionality they can be solved or referred to for most of the solutions to the problems either on the learning level or on the level of their level of their mind- brain health .
    As facilitators in classroom I can continue to enhance making a change to the mindset pf the learners by implementing all the exisiting truths and doing away with myths in neuroscience and mind brain education .
